Cierra Britton is a Baltimore born independent curator and art consultant living and working in Brooklyn, NY. As a professional in the art world, Cierra’s mission has been to support and showcase the work of artists of color. In her practice, she aims to provide space for artists of color to tell their own stories surrounding their work to ensure proper representation. The most recent exhibit she curated highlighted the work of Flo Ngala. The exhibit Harlem Ice: The Selects Folder (Oct 2019) can be seen in Teen Vogue, Essence, and The Amsterdam News. Since then, Cierra has spent her time interning at the renowned Jack Shainman Gallery along with spearheading her independent art consulting services. She has advised clients around the world, helping them add original artwork to their collections while achieving their mutual goal of supporting emerging artists and bridging the gap between artists and collectors.
