A multicultural marketer, digital strategist, and entrepreneur, Chana Ginelle Ewing is the founder and CEO at Geenie, a self-development platform centering Black women. She is the author of the forthcoming children’s book, An ABC of Equality, illustrated by Paulina Morgan (Lincoln Children’s Books, Sept 2019).
At Geenie, Chana is working to make the self-improvement market more accessible, fun, and culturally relevant through a monthly curated box, content, and experiences that support Black women thriving. Beyond Geenie, Chana founded littlebigGirl + CO, a NYC-based impact branding/marketing studio servicing non-profit, entertainment/media and technology clients. As a marketer committed to racial and social justice, she has worked with clients such as The Andrew Goodman Foundation, PBS, Netflix, Firelight Media and Discovery on new program piloting, documentary film releases, digital design and social media campaigns.
Chana’s interests lie at the intersection of innovation, women’s leadership and changemaking. She and her projects have been featured in blogs and online media properties including Blavity, ESSENCE, Forbes, MadameNoire, HerAgenda, Black Enterprise and UPTOWN. She frequently speaks on entrepreneurship, digital marketing and empowering women leaders and has participated on panels/talks at Social Media Week, Civic Hall, High School for Tourism and Hospitality (Bronx, NY), Pipeline Fellowship Conference, and 3 Day Startup.
Chana serves on the Millennial Advisory Committee of The Andrew Goodman Foundation and the Young Professionals Committee of 651 ARTS. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Chana lives and makes magic from Brooklyn, NY.
