Growing up a dancer in Denver, CO I knew I wanted to someday I'd be a professional dancer and subsequently open my own dance studio. When I was 20 years old, I moved to Las Vegas, NV and I did become a professional dancer, the dream was accomplished! At the same time, I worked as a call center representative for a credit card company. Within the following 16 years I was aggressively promoted through the ranks working within the following departments including, but not limited to: sales, marketing, compliance, fraud, collections, customer service, high-level escalated complaints from regulatory agencies, employee management and system enhancements. Ending my tenure in this industry as an Operations Manager responsible for the management of a 300 seat inbound call center.
When I moved back to Denver, CO I started a family and thought of that dream of owning a dance studio. I quickly identified that the dream was simply a plan to be an entrepreneur and build a business that helped people, a business that really stood for and meant something. As a dancer, I maintained a consistent pattern of receiving massage therapy. I realized that it wasn't just a luxury, it was a necessity. It kept me injury free, and boosted my productivity. I was hooked, and thought of someday becoming a therapist. In 2010 I attended the Denver School of Massage Therapy and became a licensed therapist in 2011. For the past 8 years I have worked within the capacity of a massage therapist and operate my own successful private practice in Highlands Ranch, CO. However, for 10 years I have obsessed about my ever evolving business concept and exceptional idea for the future of spa/salon services.
My goals and life direction are to transition back into a management position and work within the capacity of Spa Owner and Marketing Director. Utilizing my business management skills in conjunction with my massage skills will provide the business with a strong bottomline.
I am ready to enter into the next phase and am seeking financial assistance and a potential ongoing partnership. In addition to massage therapy I have an extensive background in business management which includes but is not limited to Call Center Operations, Financial Management, Sales and Marketing, Retail and Spa Operations.
It is my assertion this concept would be incredibly popular and has unlimited franchising potential. The vision for roll out is as follows; the first (1st) location would open in Denver, CO (South Suburban Area) and subsequently build into a franchise and move throughout the rest of Denver and into other states.
