About the coach

Van Tucker, COO at Launch Tennessee, is an experienced executive with a demonstrated track record of collaboration, cross-functional team leadership, action, and results in market and product development, banking, finance, entrepreneurship, and the creative economy. Intellectually curious by nature, Tucker is known for finding actionable solutions to complex challenges or opportunities. 

Throughout her 35-plus year career in banking & finance, her tenacity, strong execution skills, and a desire for learning helped her discover a passion for entrepreneurship and customer advocacy. Prior to her position as COO of Launch Tennessee, Van held positions at Bank of America, Avenue Bank, and Fierce Company. 

Van received her MBA in 1996 from The Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. She is a Myers Briggs Certified Master Practitioner who consults with start-ups to Fortune 100 companies to customize leadership development initiatives tailored to the individual’s personality and company’s objectives.
