Your Sports Resource

Our mission is to bring educational content to those who either are or wish to be a leadership volunteer in youth sports. Many non-profit boards in youth sports are well-meaning, but lack the understanding of their role or do not have the skills required to drive their organization forward.

YourSportsResource.com is a membership site that provides an affordable way for Board Members and other volunteers to find articles, tools, on-demand training, webinars, and an opportunity to connect in a private community.

The goal is to support youth sports club volunteers with their leadership, strategic planning, and overall organizational design. This will elevate their direction, so the club can move from surviving to thriving and truly make an impact with their members.

This is an extremely large and untapped market as each state has thousands of youth sports clubs. This funding will go towards employing a full-time person who can drive sales and engagement by creating consistent and relevant content both in static and live formats.

As the Founder of Renata Porter, LLC I drive the consulting portion of the business along with a part-time Virtual Assistant. This new role will give a real focus to YourSportsResource.com, which is an amazing compliment to the consulting as well as being its own force to help those clubs that can’t afford consulting services.

Supporting this woman-owned business will be huge in making an impact in youth sports. Too often the focus is on those one or two high-caliber athletes. We want to ensure clubs run so well that all of the families and members benefit in some way, no matter if they are there for fun, an emerging athlete, or a high-caliber one.

The only way to serve all families and their children is having a club whose Board and Volunteers are structured and purpose-driven in a way to deliver on that goal. YourSportsResource.com will move them in that direction.
