A Wedding Loft is a creative space for female entrepreneurs to obtain the necessary resources to operate and grow their small businesses.
Our mission is to provide an encouraging, professional environment with educational and emotional support through empowering the creative community.
Many of the major resources - that are readily available in other industries - are severely lacking in the wedding and creative industries.
Simply put, there are not nearly enough educational resources and professional physical spaces designed specifically for wedding and creative professionals.
So we set out to fix that. A Wedding Loft provides the services and resources critical for entrepreneurs to grow and operate their businesses.
Wedding professionals, female creatives, and small business owners reserve our spaces on an as-needed basis:
-
Co-Working Spaces
-
Photography Studios
-
Podcast Studios
-

-

Local small business owners have access to our:
-
Educational, Business, and Mentoring Services
We are a membership-based, creative environment focused on building a supportive community for women.
Our spaces, services, and amenities are also available to the general public.
Through the support of our members and local community, we have been able to successfully launch and operate over the last eight months. However, due to the COVID-19 health crisis we have lost the ability to fully operate in our physical space, causing a damaging revenue loss.
The emotional support, educational tools, and tangible resources that are housed within the walls of A Wedding Loft are so critical for so many. More than ever, we need your support to keep this creative home alive.
AWL has become so much to so many. This space has provided connections, collaborations, opportunities and friendships that wouldn't have otherwise happened.
With your support and contribution, we will be able to continue to provide a physical location for small businesses to survive this unexpected blow to our collective industries... and AWL community.
In addition, our goal is to get through this darker moment so we can continue growing by:
-
Community membership sponsorships for disadvantaged and new entrepreneurs looking to establish themselves in the wedding business
-
Invest in quality ceiling lights for the workshop area
-
Purchase sound panels to resolve the echoing throughout the building
-
Find sponsors to build an outdoor green living terrace -> This will be a huge addition and extremely beneficial to not only our community, but to Loudoun County residents and visitors
-
Expand the online AWL Vendor Catalogue to become interactive and allow for SEO and meta tags – this will help with advertisements and vendor discovery
