We Matter Period! Supplying Free Period Products

We Matter Period! (WMP!), is a service-based nonprofit dedicated to solving the lack of PERIOD resources. We Educate, Empower, Advocate and Supply free PERIOD Care Products for schools, shelters & streets around the world.

WMP! has been making a difference in communities since 2017. Founder, Paris Ellis, started this initiative on the campus of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. With the help of family and friends, WMP! raised $300 in the first year.

Three years later, WMP! has donated over 23,000 products to shelters & highly populated homeless communities in Tallahassee & Fort Myers, Florida, Los Angeles, California, Central North Carolina and Washington, D.C. Our goal is to expand to numerous cities across the country bringing communities together to Party with a Purpose. 

What is this money going towards?

We want to be change-makers.

• Administrative Expenses (Warehouse/Storage Unit to store overhaul product collected)
• Creation of We Matter Period Chapters, state-wide
• Funding of Educational Programming and Materials about menstruation
• Party with a Purpose Tour: 6 cities, giving out free period products and educating the public about healthy menstruation and the inequality people who menstruate face.
