The mission of We HELP You LIVE is to encourage independence, provide useful tools to aid with aging in place and empower the aging community by providing regular medical visits, mental health assistance, group exercise, socialization and inter-generational opportunities.

Our focus is on keeping hospitals from being overcrowded with preventable hospitalizations by:
- providing regular nurse visits on site or in home, which can provide insight to changes with our seniors that might not be noticed during their yearly, quarterly or monthly doctor visits.
- providing group education to help monitor, maintain and prevent common ailments in the community.
- providing medication management/education which is important for everyone, especially seniors who live on their own. We provide quarterly medication audits as well as tools to help seniors know their medications by name, what they are treating and what side effects they may encounter.
- providing mental health counseling and education to seniors in home or on site who have limited transportation, which can help break down some barriers that prevent seniors from receiving treatment.
- We work with independent senior living communities to make sure they are getting the most out of their surroundings.
- Many seniors who live in independent living communities aren't taking advantage of living in close proximity to their peers.
- Some seniors who live on their own have a limited support system and might need a little encouragement to meet their neighbors.
- Providing movement via group exercise and dance provides opportunities for seniors to socialize while participating in physical activities.
- Providing opportunities for seniors to interact with younger generations helps increase overall health, independence and feelings of self-worth.
- Younger generations can help seniors with daily living activities such as how to write checks and getting the most out of their smart phones and other technology.
- We HELP You LIVE is seeking funding to get our nonprofit organization off the ground and to begin providing services our local seniors. The funds will be used for staff salaries, advertising expenses (business cards, postage, etc.), equipment (phones, computers, etc.) software and other essential items and services to support our organization to get out into the community and begin providing services.
- Our team of dedicated individuals is made up of registered nurses, licensed mental health providers, professionals, student interns, volunteers, local families, schools and organizations who share similar visions.
- While we are providing services to seniors, we are also providing internship opportunities for student nurses, nurse assistants and post graduates in the mental health field.
- We HELP You LIVE is very thankful for all who support our mission and vision. We can not continue to provide services to local seniors without the kindness of our donors. Thanks to you, our local seniors will be encouraged to be independent and to thrive in their community.

Almost all of the money donated will go towards salaries. We will be working remotely to have less overhead costs. We will have professionals on our team with the common goal of providing the best services to our participants.
