The Virago Collaborative is more than a networking group – it is a female-focused coworking community. Virago is a collective of strong, creative female leaders aimed at empowering each other personally and professionally. It's a safe space to ask for support and share ideas. A place where you can pursue your passion, build your business, or unleash your career potential. 

The Virago Collabarative was cultivated by Founders: Mercedes Bawden, Onawa Linden, Reagen Lozar, Stacey Otterstrom, and Julia Bryant-Barrantes. Their vision is to create a work-life community of women and supportive men aimed at elevating the workplace and embracing the spirit of womanhood. 

The Virago Collaborative MISSion is to accelerate a powerful network of female-led, female-driven, and female-supportive businesses to strengthen and elevate women in Montana.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • What is the Virago Collaborative? We are a MISSion-led group of women who support other women (and some men!) by offering co-working and collaborative memberships where you can work, learn and grow, ultimately turning you into the powerhouse we all need access to!
  • Where did the name come from? We wanted a name that signaled we are more than just another co-working office and that women were in charge. A virago is a woman who demonstrates exemplary and heroic qualities.
  • Who's behind this group? Mercedes Bawden, Julia Bryant, Onawa Linden, Stacey Otterstrom and Reagen Lozar
  • What will membership get me? Your membership is worth a ton! You have drop-in rights to come use the space if you need to get out of your office or home from time-to-time. You also get access to cool events, classes and become a part of the broader Virago Directory.
  • How do I move-in full-time? We will have an application process. There will be limited availability for full-time office space, but we will keep the process as fun and streamlined as possible. Watch our website and follow us on Social Media for more information about this soon.
  • Can men join? Absolutely, but there's a catch. You are expected to fully share and embrace the MISSion!
