Project Description
Purpose:
Vintage Royalty has been a vintage inspired, jewelry company since 2007. First making jewelry out of paper, and later into the acrylic, vintage inspired pieces you see today. Vintage Royalty hopes to grow into a lifestyle brand; incorporating Vintage clothing, a styling platform, educational art classes, and a home decor service. With your help, we can start implementing the ideas and grow.
The Idea(s):
Why do we need another jewelry company? Jewelry and creating has always been special to me. I started making my own jewelry in Girl Scouts, and designing special pieces for my friends. Wearable art is universal. Everyone wears it, and it helps them express themselves without being overbearing. I have always treated Vintage Royalty as a way to create Art and expression, a platform to bring people together, and a voice that screams individuality.
The Movement:
In this world, creating is at the center. We need artistic freedom in order to live and survive and be happy. I hope to extend my knowledge into schools and different communities. Growing up, art expression was the way I dealt with life and emotions. I feel that children and young adults need to have this medium as an outlet.
Pitch:
Vintage Royalty is ready for the the next level. For those of you that have been with us since 2007, and those who have been with us a short time. The company is reaching the point where growth is necessary. In this climate, a women-owned, minority business can only succeed with hard work and a village behind her. I’m asking my village to help Vintage Royalty grow. I will have this ifundwomen campaign for 30 days. In that 30 days, I hope to reach my goal of $15,000. This will initially get me into trade shows around the country, help me obtain a manufacturer, and assist with the start up of my very first retail/studio location!
