AMENITIES
For the past year we have been surveying womxn in Buffalo to learn what their biggest struggles are as working womxn and mothers. The top 3 responses are- time management, self care and child care options. Our response is to create a space where womxn can tackle their to-do list or unplug for some much needed self care.
WHY WE NEED YOU!
A recent study by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) stated that 74% of women cannot find funding for their business. Even more disheartening– in 2018 only 2.2% of 96.7 BILLION dollars of capital venture funds were awarded to women.
After looking into many avenues of funding we decided that crowdfunding was the best option to kickstart our capital raise while we bring on investors. We are building a community space for womxn so seeking community support is a win win. Your financial support is important to the overall success of this project. We can't thank you enough for believing in our mission to support the womxn of Buffalo!
______
*The term Womxn is an alternative term for the English language word women which has been regularly in use since 2015 to explicitly include transgender women and women of color. Our on-going mission to create an inclusive and equitable community starts here.
