We were hoping for a big re-grand opening party but instead, we're focusing on safety and spending quality time with our visitors' by appointment.  But hey, at least you can make an appointment to come see the glorious space!

Abiding by CDC and Nickel Plate Arts precautions The Gal's Guide Library will re-open by appointment only starting Wednesday, July 15th.

One person/group will be allowed at a time because of our small space. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes to allow for time to browse, chit chat, drop off, or pick up books. Plus time for staff to wipe down surfaces before and after each visit.

The staff will be wearing masks. I will resist hugging all of you and instead give a "Wakanda Forever" salute.

We do have a dropbox for book donations and book returns on the porch of our building that way you can limit contact.

We've been rockin' the online world with our Uhura Training Academy, Wonder Woman Academy, and Short Story Club. We will continue to do online activities and workshops so that even if you are not local to the area you can come hang out with us gal-pals.

One last thing before a whole bunch of links. Thank you for your funding help. Because of you, we didn't have to shut down after a month of operation. Because of you, we were able to ride out this weird storm and stay positive. Women's history will prevail and we will keep a spotlight on it. You were a big part of something positive in a weird, weird time.

And that weird time isn't over so keep care of each other and I hope to see you at the Gal's Guide Library!
