Good evening! Big happy Friday!! I hope you are finding some time to rest and settle finish out the year.
We are reaching out because we wanted to follow up on the crowdfunding campaign we held in August. Thanks to you and many others, we successfully raised over 100k to hire staff and to help us launch the BGC Marketplace, a values-based shopping experience for the outdoor enthusiasts committed to a better future for all.
Our site, www.thebgcmarketplace.com , will go LIVE & PUBLIC next Monday (11/29) ! We are so excited to promote the businesses that have joined so far and, hopefully, create a more inclusive and accessible outdoor industry.

As a note, we have over 30 brands committed to the site but not all may be added on the site for the launch. This may mean some of the search filters are aspirational at this point (meaning there may not be businesses populating each search category on the 29th). If you have brands you’d like to recommend, please feel free to pass along the [email protected] email as well.
As a final note, we plan on including an aspect of a land back initiative with regards to the profit we generate in the future and are still searching for consultants who can help us navigate the best way to move forward in that goal.
