Updates for Supporters of the Embrace Change Crowdfunding Campaign

Hello everyone!

I wanted to send a special update report to all of you who supported my crowdfunding campaign back in the summer – so that you all know the incredible impact you've already made by backing this campaign!

Here's how funds have been used so far:

  • The inaugural cohort of the Leadership Accelerator for women of color – this one for Established Leaders – is about 2/3 of the way through already! We've seen so many impactful wins, breakthroughs, and transformation in the cohort in this short time.
  • Honoraria for BIWOC expert guest panelists, who've been invited to deliver bonus presentations to the inaugural Leadership Accelerator cohort.
  • You also funded 4 full scholarships and 1 partial scholarship for BIWOC entrepreneurs to take the Jumpstart Your Online Business course taught by Jennifer Duann Fultz and myself
  • 9 full scholarships and 1 partial scholarship for future Jumpstart Your Online Business participants remain.
  • The Leadership Accelerator Scholarship Fund will cover 16 partial scholarships for BIWOCs who are selected to participate in the 3 Leadership Accelerator cohorts slated for 2022 – Emerging Leaders, Social Justice Leaders and Social Impact Entrepreneurs, and another round of Established Leaders

That's a total of 54 women of color whose lives we've positively impacted in a relatively short period of time.

I'm really proud of what we've built since May 2021 and I'm deeply, deeply grateful to all of you for taking a chance on this quest and choosing to invest in the futures of women of color.
