We crossed 200 funders!

Thanks to all your support and commitment to this project, our two overnight funders, Danielle A. and Edisa helped us hit a huge milestone: 200 funders for this campaign!

I am so so grateful to each and every one of you for helping to get us this far. We're less than $400 away from $17,000. That's amazing!

If you’re following me on social media, you know I’ve been making the rounds, trying to get as many eyes on the Elizabeth's Daughter campaign as possible. On Monday April 4th, I joined a livestream with Atim Annette Oton of Calabar Gallery (watch it here).

This Wednesday and Thursday, I’m presenting a virtual Elizabeth’s Daughter exhibit at Camp NXT, a 2-day immersive experience rooted in collaboration, created by Africa NXT. I’m actually also co-presenting a talk with my friend Victoria-Idongesit Udondian, Interdisciplinary Artist and 2020 Guggenheim Fellow, on our interdisciplinary work and the challenges of making and presenting work at home and abroad. Best of all, it’s FREE. Register here.
I’m also using this event as a fundraiser for this campaign. To that end, a generous donor is matching donations up to $1000 through the campaign page on Wednesday and Thursday, so you have an opportunity to double your donations by giving on those days.

Additionally, new rewards by artists, including Elton Leonard, will be up on the campaign page, so you can actually get artwork in exchange for your financial support of this project. Go ahead and register for the 2-day event here.

With 20 days left in the campaign, I am nervous and excited and blown away all in one. Thank you.

All best,

Iquo
