Hello Asparagus supporters,
It's been an exciting couple of weeks at Gus HQ, as all your non-magazine rewards arrived. I've been busy reaching out to supporters in the Vancouver area (or friends/family I know I'll be seeing in the next little while) to arrange delivery in person. If you've claimed a tote, kitchen towel, or travel mug and haven't received an email from me, your rewards are in the mail. So keep an eye out for them!
(If you've claimed a pin, but none of the other non-magazine rewards, it will be sent along with the inaugural issue of Asparagus in the spring.)
The next crowdfunding update I'll send will be about that issue, but if you want to keep up-to-date with Asparagus' other activities in the meantime (and into the future), I recommend signing up for our email newsletter. Newsletters typically come out once a month, and contain links to our most recent online stories, as well as any other exciting news from the asparagus patch.
The big news in the most recent newsletter was the launch of Gus' online shop, The Asparagus Stand. In addition to print subscriptions, the shop offers some sweet sustainable goods, and the opportunity to donate. I hope you'll check it out, and spread the word to your friends.
