Final Crowdfunding Total
It's been almost two weeks since the Asparagus crowdfunding campaign officially ended, and we're ready to announce a final total! Backers who contributed through the iFundWomen platform gave $11,740 US. In addition, a handful of supporters asked if they could contribute Canadian funds directly (we said yes). The last of those direct contributions seem like they've trickled in, so we're able to add everything up.
In all, 200 backers contributed to making the first print issue of Asparagus a reality. Between direct contributions and converting the US dollars from iFundWomen, Gus now has more than $16,000 Canadian in the bank to spend on that issue.
