In August 2022 I was forced to close Rising Rhythm Multi City Youth Performance Company due to lack of space in my in-home dance studio kitchen space, unreliable & inconsistent studio rental space, and funding to support tuition for my most cherished families.
This decision put me into depression up until now. These kids were my world. Not only would I teach them, but I would give them rides, have car conversations, sidewalk juice dates, and overall support in life. They taught me so much about life as well.
Some of my most cherished conversations and experiences have been with my youth.
I've been teaching since I was 15 years old. I never had a retail job. At a young age I knew that I had a vision to follow my dreams to be a dance teacher so I can provide opportunities for young people to have the training I wish I had when I was younger. Up until now, I successfully executed that vision.
After a long, what feels like forever, 7-month hiatus, I am eager to update you all on where Rising Rhythm is and heading.
Rising Rhythm is in Collaboration with WIlliam Ortiz-Cartagena Founder of Clecha Small Business Support | Clecha | United States and Broker, Eddy Martinez to begin negotiations with our landlord to purchase our multi-unit building and officially reopen Rising Rhythm Youth Programs and additional Art programs in a permanent multidisciplinary Art Hub.

Secure 200k for our down payment and closing costs to purchase our building.
January 2024-
Demolition and Renovation Costs for our intergenerational multidisciplinary Art Hub
February 2024 -
Funding for youth program scholarship fund
