Project Description

In 2016 we launched The Colored Girl (TCG) and began gathering inspiring, passionate, and open-minded women to spark conversations around topics that matter to them. Organically women and men of all backgrounds joined & allied with us, and four years later, we have successfully cultivated a community of over 75,000 women & men.

Our community is a collective of well educated and influential women unafraid to take chances and invest in themselves & their communities. The Colored Girl exists to provide WOC with information, education, connection, and safe spaces to support them thriving today, as they shape the world tomorrow. Our expertise is in creating dynamic & engaging content and immersive experiences to help these women reach their full potential, and be greater assets to themselves and everyone whose lives they touch.

Revenue is driven by content and events (on & offline), with a specific focus on wellness, sisterhood, and personal & professional development. All with a mission to uplift, unite, and empower all WOC. We strongly believe that this is what differentiates TCG from other network businesses, with less inclusive focus. The business's key value lies within the community and the multiple ways to monetize it, with a subscriber-based model that will further engage and grow the audience we serve while simultaneously increasing market share.

Our vision is to expand and become the go-to network with a holistic focus, for all WOC.  By raising capital, we will be able to invest in marketing and product development to grow, engage, and retain the largest community of women of color globally. We have the best team suited to grow this network into a thriving community.

The business is led by Founder & CMO Tori Elizabeth, CEO & Co-founder Rachelle Daglis, & Co-founder, Victory Jones. Our CEO Rachelle is a proven CMO turned successful CEO whose energy and leadership has helped grow innovative, nimble start-ups into significant technology players.

With your support, we can help even more women of color & change the world!

Thank you,

The Colored Girl
