The mission of Twin Cities Mobile Mommy is to help reduce the stress and overwhelming feelings that families face with all the daily and household demands by offering a helping hand with our services in addition to building community through our partnerships, events and initiatives.
Our Solution: We are providing a peace of mind for households by taking a load off of our client's plates by providing home upkeep services, running errands, tidying up, home organizing or on-site childcare while the parents work, which will allow families to spend their precious time on other priorities.
Local Market: The Twin Cities metro area (7 main counties) houses nearly 100,000 families that fall directly within our core demographic. We want to extend our platform to these households and beyond, but will need more than myself to be able to effectively manage all the moving parts. Most households are dual-parent, while other households have a single parent/guardian.
Relatable & Helpful: I have first hand experienced the level of frustration and the incredible sense of overwhelming emotions trying to juggle a family, work, self-care, maintain the home and other priorities. Our focus is family-centric with the client's needs & desire for help at the top of our mind. Whether a household is seeking help for one particular project/task, or would like help in a recurring monthly basis, our bundles and membership options are versatile.
The Funding: I am seeking help to raise $7,500 to reach my IFundWomen campaign goal. I have exhausted my personal and family budget beyond a comfortable point, and I am not in a position to take out a line of credit. I'd prefer to not build a business with debt weighing on my shoulders. The funds raised will help me build on the foundation I have created + maintain the overhead expenses needed to operate the business for the crucial first 24 months. From monthly operation, website and software, administrative costs, marketing, leadership development, insurance and legal consulting, hiring of contractors, and more, the funds will tremendously help + allow me to feel more confident that the essentials are taken care of, so that I can focus on building a great team to meet the needs of more households.
The Team: Currently, I am a One-Woman-Team! I wear multiple hats as a Mompreneur: juggling work where I can between toddler naptimes, social media and marketing strategist, brand developer, website manager, community outreach coordinator, sponsor and partnerships manager, solo client servicing, admin & financial manager, and recently I have recruited a phenomenal team of volunteer Brand Ambassadors (the TC MomSquad) to help build social media exposure and strategize on brand initiatives. My hope is to hire 1-2 independent contractors by Fall/Winter 2019, screen, train & on-board them to assist with client services, which will allow me to focus more of my undivided attention on the operation and business management.
