Project Description

The mission of this project is to raise funds in support of transitioning our home based baking business - also known as a Cottage Food Operation - to a retail storefront in Southbay Galleria in Redondo Beach, CA

By shifting to a storefont, we are able to offer our new and existing customer base a better guest experience, more dessert options, shipping on select menu items, as well as on demand ordering and delivery
As one of the South Bay’s leading shopping centers, South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach, CA encompasses nearly one million square feet on three levels, and is anchored by Macy’s, Kohl’s and AMC South Bay Galleria 16. BossyBundts' suite is conveniently located on the third level next to Hot Topic, easily accessible from level 4 parking.
BossyBundts a family operated Bakery and Catering company that specializes in Bundt cakes of all shapes and sizes with flavors inspired by childhood and family recipes. In addition to Bundt cakes, we also offer a full menu of homestyle treats.

We are seeking funding to assist us in transforming the space - which was formerly a candy shop. The existing display cases and storage shelves left behind work perfectly for what we need and we are thankful for that. Funding will primarily be spent to secure essential items for the back of the house such as a refrigerator, stove, oven, work table, and bulk storage bins. Any additional funds will be used as working capital.
The BossyBundts team consists of Angel Amor-Smart, CEO and lead baker, Summer, back of the house operations lead, Nadjah, pastry chef and kitchen manager, Josh, customer service and outreach coordinator, Naimah, hostess, Alyssa, hostess, and Elijah host.
