Project Description

The Surf House Barbados is to promote sustainable surf tourism, environmental conservation and social connectivity.

The Surf House experience combines the excitement of surfing world-class waves, the enjoyment of pristine beaches, the joy of meeting new people – and the ability to protect the ocean at the same time. While staying at The Surf House guest will have the ability to work remotely via unwavering Wi-Fi networks, in a community of like-minded wanderlusters, adventure-seekers and ocean-loving nomads. All of this, will be offered at a competitive price point to maximize value to our guest.

The Surf House Barbados is the first hotel that is being developed. Upon completion the property will comprise of 26 rooms and 40 hostel beds.

In addition the hotel will feature a garden restaurant and bar, a co-working space and a yoga pavilion.

Barbados is famous for its turquoise waters and white sand beaches. It’s also the top surfing destination in the eastern Caribbean with the most consistent surf. The Surf House will be located with in steps of Freights Bay on the South Coast. This is a popular surf spot that boast long lefts and is situated within a bay which creates perfect off-shore wind conditions.

Surfers not only see but experience ocean pollution every-time they surf. The Surf House seeks to share our passion for ocean conservation through a purposeful lodging experience. We are making it easy for everyone to help protect the world’s oceans.

Every room booked helps to make a difference.

Every time a room is booked, one of our favorite ocean protecting organizations gets funded -10% and this goes to support local island or global conservation efforts.

The Surf House wanted to design rooms that weren’t cookie cutter hotel rooms. They will offer private queen rooms, double rooms, dorm style rooms, family rooms and suites. But don’t forget they have a full size Hostel on the premises. The Surf House is not your average hotel.
