Studio Branding Course

My name is Sarah C Blanchette, and I am the proud artist and founder of Sarah C Blanchette Studio. I create photo-based fiber art to raise awareness about the journey of coming of age on the internet and the journey towards obtaining autonomy in womanhood. The artwork is tactile, shimmery, and seeks to take the digital phenomenon of web-based tribulations into the physical realm so that we can confront it head-on. 

To date, the work has been on view in galleries around the United States and online worldwide. It has also appeared in print and in webzines.

In a passionate effort to step back and get a 'second set of eyes' on my studio business model and plan, I have applied and been accepted as a candidate for Melissa Coulier Creative Consulting's Branding Course. 

For my artwork to progress and gain new viewers, an experienced professional must analyze my business model and brand. You may see that I am a marketing professional myself. That does not excuse blindspots that I have regarding my own business. I hope that the incredible Melissa Coulier can help shed some light on missed opportunities in my business model so that I can grow.

I am seeking funding because, like many artists and business owners right now, the pandemic has dried up revenue streams. The funds raised in the campaign will go directly to the tuition from this course, which totals $2,997, and an additional $493 to cover any additional costs related to assignments.
