The Smarketing Institute is a Boston area sales and marketing resource. We connect LOCAL sales and marketing experts to LOCAL Start-ups and small businesses. 

Our sales and marketing contributors share advice and resources including articles, whitepapers, tutorials and tools.  They collaborate on workshops and are available for projects - either individually or partnered with other contributors. 

Start-ups and small business owners can search our community of contributors for tangible solutions to their sales and marketing challenges.  They can participate in workshops, find vetted professionals, and build a local support network.  They can reach out through us, or directly to the contributors for advice and solutions.

The Smarketing Institute reaches thousands of local business owners every week through an opt-in weekly email including sales and marketing articles and tips.  We attend local networking events to promote our community, our contributors, and to expand our reach.  We have an active social media presence including weekly: Sales/Marketing Polls, Interpretation of a Quote, Sales Tips, Marketing Tips and Fact or Fiction Friday.

A small business marketer with 20+ years’ experience.  Stephanie began her career in retail management.  Looking for opportunities to increase her income, she went into mortgage sales where she began marketing herself to vendors and clients.  After realizing her heart was in marketing she transitioned into marketing full-time.  Stephanie has helped many small businesses build their brand.  Her marketing experience includes working with small business in manufacturing, IT, technology, renewable energy, healthcare products, healthcare management and non-profit.  Her knowledge includes all aspects of branding a small business including designing logos, building website, managing digital campaigns, designing apps, creating print material for leave behinds, tradeshows, and mailers.  If it has to do with marketing a small business, chances are Stephanie has done it!

Susan is the Co-Founder of the Smarketing Institute and is also the President of Diversified Sales Solutions, Inc. Her experience with start-ups and small business’s gives her the knowledge to get the prospecting process off the ground quickly by helping build a customized prospecting journey for her clients. Susan, takes the lessons she's learned from successes and failures alike in her own sales and sales leadership career of over 20 years, teamed with actual work with sales teams in small companies and startups to help determine the best path to results. With a passion for connecting people and giving referrals, she is a natural born networker.   She is rarely behind a desk.  Susan can be found at many networking events in Massachusetts.
