Ever since childhood, I had my hands in everything. I wanted to be EVERYTHING when I grew up. An artist, a baker, a fashion designer, a movie star...the list goes on. At 24, not much has changed. I have never been fulfilled by trying to limit my creativity to one medium. All the art that I produce is interwoven with a multitude of creative channels.
Coming from a theatrical background, I have often struggled with the concept of waiting for a "green light" to do what you love. We are often told you have to endure hundred's of rejections before you get one "yes". You have to go to every audition, even projects of little to no interest in hopes of getting seen and making a connection. I have subscribed to this way of living for long enough. The time has come to create my own lane. So, without further ado, I introduce:
the sbg artistry collective.
a multidisciplinary space that fosters collaboration, expression, and vulnerability
This platform will allow myself and eventually all creative visionaries to have a safe place for not only their work to shine but for them as individuals to thrive. I am an immense advocate for mental health and wellness. I believe that it directly effects everything we do and I strive to generate an environment that promotes that. So what can you do to help make this dream a reality? Donate whatever you can and spread the word! Funds will be used ONLY for the following:
- Building out a functional website.
- Editing software.
- Studio/recording/production equipment.
It goes without saying the extent of my thankfulness for your generosity, prayers, and support. My hope is that in this experience, you too will unfasten the clasp of the box you have been placed in, enhance the lane you're in, or even create a new one yourself.
