ROMZ J SS23

    Romz J is a luxury made-to-order womenswear brand that ethically makes colorful, cool, quirky yet practical clothes; using only biodegradable and natural fibers.

Problem: Did you know that many of high end designer brands are manufactured in far off lands like China, Bangladesh and India where ethical concerns are still very valid? Not to forget the carbon footprint these logistics may leave. The fabric of choice for many luxury brands is polyester which is plastic! Also do you know that most brands make commercially trend led clothes that you might not wear year after year. The brands that make  timeless garments make them in boring, monotonous colors with very little detail? So obviously, to feel fashionable you tend to gravitate towards trendy clothing. But you don't need to follow trends to feel fashionable.
Solution: Romz J was born after we identified a few gaps in contemporary & luxury market. We decided to bring together sustainability, fashionability and wearability.
1. We make design-led/original clothes, using unique details and interesting color combinations so you feel fashionable and chic any time you put them on, regardless of trends!
2.Our aesthetic is a happy medium between maximalist and minimalist approach.
3. We work only with biodegradable fibres like linen, wool, ramie and cotton.
4. We hand-make everything locally and ethically.

Founder & Our team: This project is a passion project for me, I want to combine a unique aesthetic with sustainable approach as an effort towards encouraging women to build a lifelong wardrobe which is fun, fashionable and practical. Currently our team consists of myself as the Creative Director, 2 seamstresses and a knitter.

For a woman who builds a conscious, lifelong wardrobe rather than being a trend-driven shopping victim. For a woman who values comfort & practicality as much as she values the design. Why do we need your support? With the funds raised we'll produce our SS23 collection and also will some of these funds to effectively market this collection.
