Project Description
I am raising money for my start up business in activewear apparel that promotes and supports mental health awareness. The funds will go towards product development, start up costs, hire employees, and TARA: Treatment and Research for BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder).
I suffer from BPD, a personality disorder also known as emotion dysregulation. As you might understand, a serious mental disorder can be incredibly distressful especially in personal relationships and workplace. Removing the stigma surrounding the diagnosis can help. It all starts with some understanding, empathy and a phenominal support system.
My goal is to utliize my brand in mental health advocacy by educating and collaborating with TARA4bpd.org to help and support those struggling with BPD and help families of those with BPD.
