The Perfectionist in me wanted to have a whole video rendered presentation for this, to showcase the impact of the work we've at KKSQ Tech Creative Corporation. But the truth of the matter is, since 2015, it's been just me and Shoshana Cabral, working endlessly both individually and together to impact our community and provide the resources our people need. We did it all with 0 funding, No team, just us and the willpower to make change within our community and our people. Leaving Atlanta to learn more about what kind of change we could make and field research within other organization to create the perfect business model for our cause and bring that knowledge back to our community. With just the 2 of us, building our network, engaging with a diverse community of youth and adults, creating and testing programs, and reworking our vision as we go, we've done the unthinkable.
KKSQ has provided training services to over 1500 individuals and small businesses combined through our programming and virtual resource hub. The KKSQ Virtual Resource Hub contains over 250 resources on how to start a business, legal formation information, financial literacy and mental health resources. Our Technology training program has held over 80 plus free and paid workshops and educated over 1500 adults and youth. In 2021, KKSQ incorporated in Atlanta GA with the charge of closing the racial technology gap and reinventing pathways to entrepreneurship.
We are asking for help to expand the work we do, right back to where we first met and our journey began, The Atlanta Lakewood Community. At KKSQ, we operate in a "Community-First Mindset" by gearing our focus toward closing the racial technology gap between black and other minority business owners and the path to workforce development and entrepreneurship. Our vision is to become the center of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in the city of Atlanta. We aspire to partner with local government, nonprofits and small businesses and educational institutions to create a pipeline of minority entrepreneurs in America by providing technology and entrepreneurship training.
Help us expand work to bring our community what they deserve, access, exposure and patience with technology, mental health and business development. Here's some things our Innovation Center will have !
-Coworking spaces & Conference Rooms
-STREAM LAB (Science Technology Reading Entrepreneurship Arts and Math) for in person adult and youth education and training
-Production studio
-Content/Dance studio
-Community Cabinet & Community Garden
-Library dedicated to Authors of Color
-Small Business Accelerator Programs
-Youth Mentorship and Training Programs

and so much more. We've done this work on our own for years, now it time to request some help.
