Racehorse and Race Stable Management

The Rundown is female owned and operated communication and invoicing platform app. The team is a one woman show. I have been an avid fan of horse racing since I was a little girl. I would write letters to the nearby tracks asking if I could work at the track. Being extremely young I was turned down, then I was offered a job once I would turn 18. The app came when I was my yearly doctor’s appointment. He came in the room saying, “one of my horses died three weeks ago and I just found out.” After the initial shock worn off, he continued saying him and his trainer were in this endless game of phone tag. Once they finally got a hold of each other they forgot the reason for the call.  

The Rundown is an app that will track: next races, health, breeding and training. Eliminating the phone tag game that is currently happening. Besides tracking down owners the trainer is juggling those whom are employed by them. Within the app the Trainer can assign task to employees as while as send messages keeping employees in the loop.  

The racing industry is a niche market that is quite large. United States racing is ranked in top 5 countries in Horse Racing. The Rundown does have users that are locked in and waiting for app to launch. The Rundown is seeking money to pay for the development of the app. All of the money raised will go to App development.
