The mission of our project is to empower the future by working with 4th and 5th-grade girls on a curriculum geared towards emotional-resiliency, mindfulness, mindset, self-love, and self-care, and life skills.
We are solving the gap in education where life skills are not always learned at this level. We are providing aid to schools in the form of life-coaching for young girls to build skills, and mindsets they can use for a lifetime.
In Broome County there does not exist a comprehensive curriculum for youth such as this offered by a woman of color, and created to build confidence that can trickle into their home life and school work.
The Market Size is extremely unique, and still very new. Our company owns Queens Recognize Queens® which operates as an empowerment brand for women. After years of working with women, and hosting mini-events for girls, we saw the need to extend our work into the schools for young adolescents and teen girls.
We aim to solve many of the issues we find in our adult clients such as lack of emotional resiliency, self-awareness, and confidence in who they can be due to childhood circumstances.
We are seeking funding for this project because we have not been 100% funded by the school, and we are seeking to add 1 additional school to this curriculum. We will spend the funding on costs to facilitate, to pay additional mentors to attend, as well as adding 1 additional staff. Currently, the program is only staffed by our founder, but as we expand we hope to add 1 more staff person!
Thank you so much for stopping by our campaign! We hope that you can donate to our fund, and help us to spread our curriculum to many more schools!
