What is the mission of your company or project?
The Mission of this project is start building capital to upgrade the studio equipment to manage our upscale of needs. The Team and I, are creating a production house which would serve the community through workshops, musical skill development at no cost and is for all ages.
Describe the problem you are solving?
As a female producer, I have seen a lack of inclusion of women in the music industry. Especially, being a producer. Which is why I aim to change the narrative and create safe space for all genders to feel comfortable to learn and hone their skills to become successful creatives with no worries about how they will be paying for equipment, software or classes.
Who is on your team?
Currently, we have three producers, two audio engineers and two graphic designers who are currently the heartbeats of TifahTheQueen Records.
What is the market size/opportunity?
The Market size would be all ages, no matter the skill level they are welcomed and assessed by one of the team members.
What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem?
TifahTheQueen Records is an independent record label, We specializes in :
- Audio Production: mixing & mastering
- Graphic design: album art, logos, Visualizers
-Custom merchandise: T-Shirts,Hats etc
-Music Distribution: Major DSP’s such as iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, Google Play etc
It is very expensive for upcoming artiste to pay for these services if they do not have the funding. By, us being able to facilitate these services at an affordable cost and they can get everything done at one location whether it being design work or audio production.
Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding?
We are seeking funding due to the global pandemic has slowed down day to day operations and we are passionate about the mission which still needs to be fulfilled to meet the needs of struggling artiste who we helped over the past year. We will spend the funding on adequate equipments and software to provide a more efficient service to our clientele and students.
