My Mission?

My goal with this Skin Clinic is to help women get their confidence back. We do this by having advanced medical treatments in our clinic, that offer almost no downtime. 

There is a lot of beauty salons in South Africa, but not a lot of Skin Clinics. Many places turn women away if they want to treat their pigmentation on their hands, or improve the appearance of stretch marks on the legs, as they just mainly spesialize in treating the face. 

That's where I want to come in. I want to play a role in giving women the confidence to wear that bikini, without covering it with a short, because they don't want their legs to show, or to even be confident in being naked in front of their partner, as we have now treated her stretch marks on her breasts.

I really want to treat all dimensions of the skin, instead of just beautifying the face!

Who Am I?

I am a 22 year old qualified Somatologist.
You might ask, "What on earth is that?" - I get that a lot.
A Somatologist is a health & skin care expert, with a Higher Diploma qualification. We study you through a holistic approach: mind, body and soul.

I'm a full time Skin Therapist at a local Aesthetics Clinic, and I get so frustrated when we turn clients away who wishes to treat areas other than the skin, and I also have this intense fire inside of me, to venture on my own and open up my own clinic. 

Why do I need the funds & where is it going?

I am so grateful and blessed to this job that I have, which has given me the chance to already save up a few $$, as well as to already have bought most of the equipment that I need.
But it is still not a enough, opening up your  own Skin Clinic is not the easiest & cheapest thing ever, might I add.

This is where the money will be going:

• Product House - we need to invest in a proper and decently researched skin care product, to give our clients the proper results they desire. I decided on using DMK!
• Equipment - in this clinic, I feel it is necessary for me to add more advanced treatments on the treatment menu, with the reason for us to stand out more, as well as to, once again, improve our client's results in a quicker way! The equipment that we are looking at is a Microneedling Machine, LED Light and a Automatic/Visual Skin Analyzer. 
• Consumables - I mostly do have some of the consumables already, such as the cotton wool, earbuds, lancets, etc. 
• Rent - this is the one that has my anxiety running. Getting to find a proper place to rent is so difficult. Location Location Location! And most of the places don't ask less than $800 per month. This is quite scary, especially for a startup business where the initial income won't be that much. 

Every little sponsor, whether it's big or small, really does mean a lot!
