Pitch University for Underrepresented Founders
Pitch University targets women and underrepresented entrepreneurs through entrepreneurial education, strategic partnerships, and scaling.

Project Description

- Our mission is to increase the number of underrepresented founders with access to strategic partnerships, capital, and education on an effective pitch. Unfortunately, only .4% VC funding went to AA founders in 2018.
- Our team is solving the problem of the declining trajectory of year to year decreases in the average revenue for women of color that currently is at $65,800/year for African-American female founders by awarding scholarships to our Pitch University and Entrerprise University curriculum.

Our company plans on solving the problem via our Pitch U curriculum for founders under $1 million of revenue. Our program delivers innovative and holistic entrepreneur education programs resulting in economic empowerment, a lift in local economies, and business creation. Due to Covid-19, we have pivoted to virtual technology to expand access nationally to founders.
- The funding will be used to provide scholarships for underrepresented founders for the remainder of 2020. You will change a founders trajectory of being able to stay in business.
Our team has a diverse array of industry experience in strategy, finance, fundraising, marketing, IT, project management, franchise relations, and startup launches.
