Patent Development for Statistics Projects
This purpose of this fundraising campaign is to develop innovative approaches to teaching statistics to people who struggle with math.
Project Description
The mission of Moore Statistics Consulting LLC is to provide a resource for college students who struggle with mathematical concepts in statistics. Application development will focus on adult learners who have not received formal training in mathematics. Students that lack the proper training in mathematics tend to find statistics to be an academic obstacle. Mobile and web application will be designed to communicate complex topics in a creative format.
Native mobile applications require a developer, patent attorneys, and a patent application which can be quite costly. So far I have found a patent attorney, Anthony Verna, in Rye NY. Mr. Verna has been helpful in outlining the costs for filing a patent application. I have also surveyed the cost for a developer. Generally speaking, I am seeking funding to make creative contributions to my field in statistics.
