Naked Bar Soap Co.

"NAKED" means undisguised, blatant, and devoid of concealment. Our products are created with nourishing ingredients combined with essential oils, a few natural fragrance/essential oil blends, and natural herbs, florals, and spices for lovely color. We believe great things come in small batches and that is we create in Naked Bar Soap Co. 

There are many Black owned businesses out there in the beauty industry and many specifically target hair and makeup. There is not one prominent Black owned business that is mainstream and stands out with soap, bath and body products.

We (Natasha Byrd-Gaylon and Jennifer Peets) are a team of 2 proud Black Latinas who want to be trailblazers in the beauty industry with our soaps and bath and body products.

Our products (DOING MORE WITH LESS) are made with nourishing ingredients (olive oil, coconut oil, Shea butter, cocoa butter, and exotic plant butters ) combined with essential oils, a few natural fragrance/essential oil blends, and natural herbs, florals, and spices for lovely color. We believe great things come in small batches.

We are seeking funding to grow our B2C (businesss-to-consumer) sales locally and nationally and reach our goal of $100K for the year 2020. We want to upgrade our current packaging and source more organic and high-end ingredients such as Blue Tansy Essential Oil and Primrose Oil. 

We also want to expand our B2B (business-to-business) accounts by 50%.  Meeting this goal would require a larger warehouse space for better and seamless production and distribution. 

Another goal we have set is to increase our visibility on social media with better marketing and PR. Having great PR will complement our marketing, add depth to our brand, and go hand-in-hand with our vision to get our message across different formats with better imagery and creative marketing.
