Hello all!
My name is Ryan Baker, better known as “The Nail Doctor.” I am 20 years old, a full time college sophomore and I currently run my own nail studio.
I started my journey as an entrepreneur at 17 years old, when I enrolled at my local nail academy fresh out of high school. Throughout my journey, I have powered through adversity from not only my peers, but the struggle of balancing a full time college career with a business. I love the fact that I was able to turn my passion into a career, and I have been fortunate enough to make invaluable strides within the beauty industry.
I strive to develop a real connection, and influence a positive change in each person's life I seat in my chair. I am more than a nail technician, I seek to be a role model for future young entrepreneurs, as well as provide a service that goes beyond the scope of a manicure. Recently, I took the opportunity to expand my business into a full scale, luxury beauty and nail salon. I recently closed on my building, and I have assembled my dream team of service providers! Throughout this process, I have been paying for everything out of my own pocket. I am passionate, dedicated, and hard working beyond my years. - "Is your business successful?"- In the time that I've been in business for myself, I have had the pleasure to service and maintain over 200 clients who travel from several different states and cities.
- "How do you plan to fund your business beyond your campaign?"- In addition to being a luxury nail artist, I also teach 1-1 training courses. In the coming year, I plan to enter the global industry with my own line of beauty products.
- "What makes you different from any other nail salon?"- I go beyond the scope of your average nail tech. I prioritize each of my client's health and I strive to make each woman/man who steps foot into my establishment feel beautiful, seen, and represented by myself and my staff. I am providing a luxury, one stop beauty salon with top of the line products and incomparable care.
