Millennials are cooking more and it isn’t considered a chore but ability to create an experience.
However, there is no easy way exists in finding places for culinary enthusiasts to learn new skills, become culturally literate and taste global food locally.
-Cooking schools are expensive and also complex for amateurs
-You travel places to learn local cuisine
-Online recipes limits people from feeling, smelling and tasting all the amazing ingredients
-Dining at restaurants limits you from learning culture and tradition behind the food they serve
A GO-TO web platform to FIND global culinary experiences offered by passionate home cooks or chefs from their home kitchens locally.
Naan Americans is a community building platform that empowers home cooks or chefs to host culinary experiences to people within the community to:
-Follow passion, build followers and generate revenue
-Teach new skills, share recipes and encourage home cooking
-Socialize within the community, enlighten them with culture, history and tradition via food
How will we use your money?
Our biggest challenge is not having a user-friendly interface for host chefs to instantly enroll, schedule and publish classes. We want to build UX App and improvise website for our hosts to create events conveniently and at the same time for guests to find, inquire, review or book classes easily. In addition, our platform will be designed with background checks & risk scoring features to provide utmost security to our hosts and guests.
Co-Founder and CEO
Supriya holds a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University. She spent a decade as a Molecular Biologist before deciding to plunge into for-profit social entrepreneurship. Her entrepreneurial mind set from the age of seven after starting a makeshift book store as a kid, led her to explore several entrepreneur boot camps and ventures in the scientific startup. However, her passion in cooking and entertaining her friends and neighbors during her free time turned out to be the most fun, yet socially impactful venture. This idea led her to start a global community building platform that brings people together via food and enlighten them with history, culture and traditions, bridging the gap of knowledge on diversity around us.
Supriya is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, where she brings more than 5 years of management experience from her previous startups- Medbiomarkers, Inc. and SNIFE CO. Since then, she has worked on the intersection of technology, consumer marketing, entertainment, and community building.

Our Culinary Experience Reviews:
Thank you for a fabulous kids' sushi class at beautiful Allandale Farm!! My son and I had a wonderful experience learning to make one of his favorite foods! He came home so excited and proudly presented his sushi to my husband to snack on :) A morning well spent for sure. We're really glad we found you guys -- can't wait to take some classes for myself!
Wonderful evening with the Naan Americans! The cooking demonstration was amazing - easy to follow, hands on, yet such intricate delicious dishes. What a great way to socialize with friends and make new ones!!

Wonderful experience with The Naan Americans. Cannot recommend it highly enough. I had no idea it was possible to make Indian food in my own kitchen!
