My Silver Spoons

My Silver Spoons is a specific online retail store for women who suffer from various conditions and diseases that cause pelvic and back pain, with the cornerstone being custom made jeans to accommodate the significant changes to the body seen during a normal day for these women.

The purpose is simple - to provide an entire group of women the opportunity to ‘regain their spoons’ and live their lives as closely to normal as possible, despite being handed life altering diagnoses and facing daily struggles that are often invisible to others.

The key focus of the business is in jeans and clothing, which is typically unwearable for many of these women. Following extensive market research and review on what my customers wants and needs, I have been able to finalise the design and specifications, along with a sample, of custom designed jeans that accommodate for these conditions.

I am seeking help from the wider community to bring these products to the women in desperate need of them. Initial funding to manufacture these jeans is the first step! The impact that this product can have, with the help of my backers, will be have a significant impact on women's ability to carry on their day to day lives and manage their conditions. 

The further focus of the business is to provide women struggling with both the physical and mental impacts of these diseases with both relief and hope, as there is a significant suicide rate associated with many of these life long and chronic diseases.

The idea for my initial product has been based upon my own struggles with medical issues causing the simple pleasure of putting on a pair of jeans to head to brunch or out with friends near impossible. The subsequent product offerings have been inspired by my own trials and successes, along with failures, in finding relief in natural products.
