My Grandma Baked A Cookie

We are a scratch baking company where all products are created with the warmth and the heart, just as grandma intended. Our mission is to expand grandma's legacy of baked goods as a tool of community building and communication to those who need a reminder of the simple (and delicious) possibilities of life.

Each product is crafted to be not only enjoyed but shared in the hopes that, through our dedication both taste and kindness, we may provide one solution to an increasingly disconnected society.

With the inclusion of select allergen-free products and a focus on quality above quantity and experience over dogged consumerism, we believe that they market is limited only by our unwillingness to replace hands with machines.

We have been incredibly fortunate to be able to pivot quickly during the massive uncertainly that accompanied the first few months of the pandemic business shutdown. While we have remained afloat and kept out doors open, we are far from where we were at the beginning of 2020 and far from the expected growth that we were putting into action for the year. Any funds raised during this campaign will help to meet three major milestones:

1. complete our transition from a retailed-dependent business subject to an ever-changing population in a very seasonal area (funds used towards: shelf-stable product development, optimizing packaging required to expand our corporate gifting capabilities and related upgrades to product and presentation)

2. complete the outfitting of our delivery van (ex. cargo cooling, efficient shelving units, tow kit, additional safety features to help our less experienced drivers) and the purchase/build of a concession trailer to service our local gated communities more effectively year-round.

3. begin the process of moving to a new HQ location in a more highly trafficked area with prep, baking, packing, cooling and storage space that we so desperately need.

Our team is small but mighty, led by our owner (a recovering advertising executive) and our head baker and supported by a group of (currently all women) of ages ranging from 19 - 60+ from all backgrounds.
