On a mission to support women in construction!

I'm an electrical contractor and I own Detroit Voltage an electrical contracting company headquartered in Detroit. The construction industry is still very much so a male-dominated industry. 

• Our mission is to introduce and educate youth and women in both skilled trades and entrepreneurship.
• There is a lack of diversity in the construction industry and my mission is to change that narrative.
• Careers in the construction industry are sustainable. The employment of construction laborers and helpers is projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations.
• My goal is to help develop and launch women-led construction firms.
• We are committed to training both the youth and women in skilled trades and entrepreneurship.
• I am seeking funding to build a container-building training facility in Detroit which will serve as a training ground for our students. They will participate in the building of the facility with hands-on training. Once constructed we will continue training them in skilled trades and entrepreneurship.
