Minority Youth and Basic Finance Camp!

Our Mission is too educate Minority Youth on the simple basics of Finance i.e. Budgeting, Entrepreneurship, Taxes, Stock Market, the Power of Credit, Savings and so much more! We recognized that the school system can not do it all but yet is failing to teach one of the key components of being successful in life and thats everyday basic finances. We have kids graduating high school that don't know how to do their taxes, fill out a W-4 form on their first day at work, protect their credit or just save and invest for the future.  Our youth deserve to know how to open their own business utilizing their good credit, they deserve to know how the stock market works, they deserve to learn basic things that will keep them from falling beneath the poverty line that so many end up under because they dont realize that understanding how money works can help them down the line when they come across a big opportunity.  Our goal is to create a Classroom setting where we will challenge youth from the ages of 14-17 to conquer the world by teaching them the financial opportunities that are available.  Liz Smith who created Love of All Mankind Foundation will be partnering with individuals that specialize in Banking, Credit, Real Estate, and Small Business Start-ups to present presentations throughout the Weekend Camp and give hands-on instruction to each and every participant.  We aspire to challenge them to be entrepreneurs, keep perfect credit or just learn to invest/save their money first to stay ahead of the game. The funds collected will go toward financial literature, financial library/tools, and office/classroom expense in order to have the classes in as well as minimal payroll for admin needed.  Our children need our help in knowing that there is more to money than expensive shoes and clothes.
