We believe and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that when a person is their true authentic self… they are the best them that they can be and we at Mingles Tea Bar shine the light on that person’s true self in every interaction, praying and hoping that they too will see the best them that they can be!

Mingles is a place where people can come and take a break from the daily stresses that day to day living can bring on. All of our teas include herbs along with other ingredients to provide a medicinal aspect to a delicious beverage. We provide a safe, tranquil, entertaining and encouraging atmosphere for our customers that soon become a part of the Mingles Family after their first visit.

There is an enclosed space on the outside of our current location that we plan to turn into a “Sanctuary (a place of refuge or safety) Garden”. Monies will go towards this project by beautifying the area with hedges, a wood deck, furniture, heat lamps, a garden and the like. This space will be utilized as extra seating for Mingles customers, for customers that would like an outside private ambiance to host their events and for others to just come and relax. This is an opportunity for us to also increase our revenue while providing something different to current customers and new customers to come. Mingles will also host monthly community events featuring local artist and business owners that do not have a brick and mortar to display their talents otherwise.

Although Mingles Tea Bar is currently a Sole Proprietorship; I have a VILLAGE. My mom, “Jewell” bakes our Mama’s Peach and the Lemondrop Cake which we are widely known for and she is also there in the evenings as well as on Saturdays during our Savory Saturday making our “Special” waffles, aunt “Margaret” helps out during our Taco Tuesday by preparing the tacos and my Guy “Andre” is the Glue that Holds Us ALL TOGETHER.
