🐱 What is Milky & Coco’s Kit-Tea Cafe?
Milky & Coco’s Kit-Tea Cafe is a cozy, cat-filled tea lounge coming to Vancouver, WA! We’re creating a welcoming space where guests can sip tea, relax, and connect with adoptable cats from local shelters—all while supporting community wellness and animal welfare.

🏠 Where will the cafe be located?
We are actively working to secure the purrfect location in Vancouver, WA. Your support through this Kickstarter will help us fund the leasing, permitting, and build-out of the space. Our goal is to be accessible to both locals and tourists exploring the Pacific Northwest.

😻 Will the cats be adoptable?
Yes! All of the cats in our cafe will be adoptable through our partnership with the local Humane Society. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with cats in a home-like setting and, if the vibe is right, begin the adoption process right in the cafe.

🧓 Will you have any community programs?
Absolutely. In addition to being a relaxing hangout, we plan to partner with local assisted living facilities and dementia clinics, and autism centers to offer regular visits and activities that promote companionship, connection, and joy—for humans and cats alike.

💰 What will the funds be used for?
Funds raised will go directly toward securing a location, building out the space to meet both health codes and cozy vibes, acquiring furniture and equipment, and ensuring a safe and enriching environment for our feline residents. We’re laser-focused on making this dream a reality—with your help!

🐾 What makes your cafe different from others?
We’ll be the first cat cafe in Vancouver, Washington, combining cafe service, adoption, and community outreach in one adorable, carefully curated space. Our unique branding, tourism appeal, and mission to support both animals and humans sets us apart.

🌱 Are you a nonprofit?
No—we are structured as an LLC. This allows us to operate sustainably, adapt quickly, and grow responsibly as a small business. While we’re not a nonprofit, our mission is rooted in community connection. We’re building a unique “third space”—a welcoming environment outside of home and work—where people can unwind, connect with others, and enjoy the calming presence of cats over a warm cup of tea.

🎨 Have you already started designing the space?
Yes! We’ve created detailed visual renderings, branding elements, and floor plan concepts to bring our vision to life. These assets have helped us align with potential partners and give backers a clear sense of what they’re supporting.

📆 When will the cafe open?
Once we secure a location with your help, we aim to open within 6–9 months, depending on buildout and permitting timelines. Backers will receive regular updates on our progress and milestones!
