Midnight Market: Foodie Nightlife Event

Midnight Market came about when best friends, Perla Nieves and Alysis Vasquez, realized there was a void in Jersey City’s nightlife scene.  They shared a mutual love of food, drinks and music, but they felt their beloved hometown lacked a place to enjoy all three.  That’s when this entrepreneurial duo dreamed up Midnight Market – a foodie nightlife event with a fun atmosphere held at a local venue where the 21+ over crowd could gather and enjoy a variety of delicious food and drinks with some great music.

While the locations and event themes change, the concept remains focused on providing a fun, affordable night out every second Friday of each month where Lincoln is king with $5 entry, $5 dishes from various local food vendors and $5 cocktails. This gives guests an opportunity to sample a little bit of this and that throughout the event.  A DJ spins a variety of music that sets the tone for a fun evening for adults of all ages to enjoy.

They're raising money to hire two staff members that will help take MM to the next level.  The Midnight Market team needs $20,000 to hire two part-time staff members to help with media outreach, location/vendor scouting, accounting, graphic design, etc.  Help contribute to the pop-up foodie movement happening in New Jersey with the fastest growing night market in the area.
