When will products be available for purchase?

Feeding supplies will be available for purchase on the website as soon as next month. We’ll add additional SKUs on a rolling basis for the next several months. Our foods will be available for purchase before the end of the year.

Are you only available locally or nationwide?

We’ll have nationwide shipping available.

Is Little Cocoa Bean Co. a non-profit or for-profit company?

The Little Cocoa Bean Co is a social enterprise. That means we’re a for-profit company seeking to address social issues. Our primary purpose is to serve our social mission but we want to support ourselves financially rather than rely exclusively on grants and philanthropy.

Are your foods only for people in BIPOC communities?

Our foods are for everyone. However, we aim to celebrate the rich history tied to Black and Brown cultural cuisine and to highlight its health benefits. We’re rejecting the narrative that our traditional foods are unhealthy. Before the commercialization of food, the fast food boom, growth of the meat industry, the removable of locally owned and operated small grocers, the theft of black farmland and so many more moments in history, we ate foods that were good for the body and good for the earth. Our diets were mostly plant-based and locally sourced because meat was very expensive and most communities grew their own food. This is a space where we are reclaiming our foods, the narrative about our foods, and we’re getting healthier one baby at a time. You’re welcome to join the movement!
