Empower a woman to start a business or take her existing business to the next level. Taking entries to select one winner by public vote.
Project Description
Arrive Coworking, KidsPark Lincoln, and other local Lincoln, Nebraska businesses are joining forces to provide one local woman with the opportunity to launch or take her business to the next level. Our goal is to provide her with everything she needs to make her business dreams come true and to succeed!
Did you know that Nebraska is ranked last of all 50 states for female entrepreneurs?
We want to overcome some of the issues facing women business owners here and provide an avenue for one (or MORE) women to help change these statistics!
We plan to open this grant to Lincoln area entrants, who will need to submit an application before 12/01/2019. From the pool of applicants a committee made up of successful local business owners will vet the entrants' business plans and select a list of finalists from which you, the public, will get to select the winner!
The grant is valued at $20,000 and will serve to fund an office space, childcare, legal and accounting services, business coaching, and a professional branding package for 2020. The winner will also have access to our amazing community of business owners as a source of support, encouragement, and advice.
Your contribution will go directly towards paying the package of services provided to the grant winner as determined by our committee.

You can schedule a time to host a workshop in our gorgeous main lounge and your attendees will enjoy free childcare during the workshop at KidsPark. Limited to 20 attendees, 3 hrs max, subject to available dates.
