LIKI START UP FUND INITIATIVE

LIKI BRAND (pronounced like-e) is an urban contemporary clothing brand  born deep heart of Texas. 

LIKI, being of African-Igo & Hawaiin origin, means the most beautiful. And with LIKI BRAND's fashions ranging in every style from streetwear to casual contemporary, it is bound to have an impact on fashion enthusiasts throughout the world. 

We house quite a few unknown and up and coming labels at LIKI BRAND in addition to our collections, which are due to be launched late 2021. Our styles range from minimalistic, urban, to contemporary, to even trendy favorites! I feel it provides a flexible environment to create outfits that resonate personally, which is so important today.

Even though we are still a very small and consolidated business, we aspire big, in hopes to bring new job opportunities to our small Texas counties of Bell and Travis. 

COVID19 has changed the way we looked at everything here at LIKI BRAND from sourcing to operations. So much so that we have abruptly opted to change our mindset.

Just like a majority of the companies affected by the effects of COVID19, we are facing hard times. 
For instance, since we are so new we were unable to qualify for the PPP,  and switching manufacturers/vendors from China to USA, Mexico, United Kingdom has resulted in a huge delay in our production process. 

In the meantime, the future has forced us to look inward and to pursue a new means of getting our fashion store products and our own collection to realization.
 

THESE CHANGES INCLUDE:

• Focusing at least 60-75% our sourcing/manufacturing/production on USA based businesses in order to help our economy as well as providing our own production/manufacturing in-house 

• Creating more remote(CSR) , manufacturing/production, creative job opportunities for members of our local community.

• Developing and manufacturing new Innovative essential products to add to our line

WE ASK FOR YOUR HELP

Your donation will help us begin to start the restructuring process of the changes we would like to implement in order to comply with the current changes due to COVID19 as well as seed the beginning of our venture. 

We understand that times are difficult, therefor we only hope to seek a minimum of $1.00 donation from anyone who is willing to help us start the initiative. 

We believe there is strength in numbers and appreciate any and everyone who will lend a helping hand for our small business. 

PHASE ONE FUNDING GOAL: $50,000 to $150,000

HOW FUNDS WILL BE USED

• Equipment/Packaging Supplies: Fabrics, Product Boxes, Shipping Supplies

• Source a Local or USA Manufacturer:  To assist with larger orders.

• Business/Marketing Expenses: Cover business expenses to keep the business alive

• Hire Employees: provide freelance/temporary remote work and training opportunities to assist with production and customer service 

• Fund New Collection: Launch our name brand collection and attend our first fashion/trade show for the year 2021

• Fulfill Rewards & Shipping Cost: Get our products to all our wonderful backers.
 

• Secure:  secure office space and manufacturing warehouse space so we can start to produce locally.
