Project Description
Have you struggled to figure out your next career steps? Based on the fact that 29.5 million women struggle to find the information they need for advancement, you are not alone.
We, Alexa Curtis and Heather Miller, the Co-Founders of GrasshoppHer, know what it's like to have taken some seemingly unrelated steps on our chosen career paths. Alexa launched a fashion blog at age 12 and scaled it into a lifestyle brand. She is a former Radio Disney host and serial entrepreneur. Heather was a professional ballet and hip hop dancer turned lawyer, who parlayed her passions into a 10 year career in Talent Acquisition and DEI strategy at McKinsey & Company. We navigated our entrepreneurial and corporate backgrounds with little career roadmapping support and understand how stressful and lonely this experience can be. We want to mitigate the navigational pain points and time that young women are spending trying to find resources and directional advice.
Introducing GrasshoppHer! GrasshoppHer is a career mapping platform and community for women. We help you reach your fullest potential through upksilling content, community and industry connection. Our community is made up of 20-40 yr old young professional women in the workplace and entrepreneurs, who are trying to navigate their new roles, industries and career next steps.
We know that today's young professional women do not expect linear careers. And, there are insufficient career and personal development resources to help them navigate along vital phases of their journeys. GrasshoppHer solves this problem by providing upskilling content, role modeling, community and industry connection through our two offerings: our memberships and our Be Fearless empowerment summits. We provide our members a robust content hub of professional development articles, webinars and videos as well as a tight-knit community ready to provide support, learning opportunities, engagement and friendship. Our Be Fearless Summits allow you deep dive with thought leaders into relevant career topics and empower you to realize your unique potential.
We are fundraising to move to a more tech-enabled platform so that every woman regardless of their background, education and network has access to professional development resources. We want each and every one of you to realize your unique impact.
