Knot Perfect- Faith Based Dating App

INTRODUCTION

Physical beauty and financial status change with the season; so why do we attempt to build long-term relationships on such temporary foundations? Knot Perfect is a Christian dating app for millennial singles who are interested in dating with intention. 

On Knot Perfect, all profile pictures are blurred until after you become a match. This is to encourage users to answer profile questions more thoughtfully. Our goal is to ignite just enough interest for users to connect on a deeper, more spiritual level. 

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Makahla Hamilton is very passionate and has always been a business woman at heart. During her childhood, she excelled academically and found an early career in cosmetology. In 2011, Makahla left her hometown of Atlanta to pursue a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. Upon graduating from Hampton University in 2015, Makahla relocated to New York City where she began working for major media conglomerate, Viacom, in the concentration of International Media at BET. She currently works in Influencer Marketing at GoDaddy. Always having an entrepreneurial mind, Makahla decided to create her own business in 2017 and Knot Perfect was officially born.

WHY iFUNDWOMEN?

I was inspired by the diverse community of entrepreneurs on iFundWomen and felt an instant connection between my story and theirs. I saw many different stories, but noticed one common vision: Women who have a dream and are making steps to turn it into a reality. I knew immediately, this was the platform for me.
