• What is K-pop Store Boston (KSB)? 
  • K-pop Store Boston is not just a store, it is a home, a safe place, and a community. We want our store to be a place where K-pop fans can meet each other and hang out, do homework together, and or relax. We are a store that is going to sell K-pop merchandise which includes, merch, albums, lightsticks, posters, and any other goods. K-pop is Korean pop music. We won’t only be selling merchandise from K-pop groups we will also be selling things from Korean solo artists, hip-hop, rock, R&B, and any other Korean music genre. Since we would be the first K-pop in the entire New England region we want K-pop fans to be able to get everything they desire from this store. The reason why we are so motivated to have a physical store instead of just an online store is that it’s really hard for K-pop fans to meet in the New England area, we have to travel outside of New England to be able to go to a K-pop store. The only places you can buy K-pop albums are in Newbury Comics, Target, or at an Hmart, but even with those places existing it is only a very small section of those stores and they only have mainstream groups being sold which neglects not only every other group and or artist that exists but it also neglects any other Korean music genre. 

• What's the Story behind our business?
  • The story behind our business is that we are actually K-pop fans. We used to travel to New York to go to concerts, K-pop events, cup sleeves, album signings, etc. We are from Massachusetts so going to New York can be a lot, especially for younger fans. So we had the idea of starting a K-pop store and here we are now. We started off with an online store but we want a physical store. We want K-pop groups to know that there are many K-pop fans in Massachusetts and that they should come here and have concerts.

• What is KSB's mission statement?
  • K-pop Store Boston aims to provide an environment where fans and stans can embrace and express their love for the K-Pop culture by providing them with the merchandise and a setting where they can peacefully enjoy the music they love surrounded by an acceptable and open community.
